Jan 23, 2019. All in all, Slay the Spire is just a brilliant game. It opens its arms to you and holds you close to begin with, then pushes you away and practices throwing cards at you once you have found your footing. It really is a marvel of a genre mash-up and it is thoroughly deserving of your time.

Slay the Spire is amazing. The mobile port is not. There's some minor issues like handling cursor position that causes cards to sometimes get stuck or used unintentionally. But the big issue is the cloud saves. Very slow to load saves and whatever service is used to manage them is very unreliable.
