After I rebuilt the carb and cleaned petcock same issue until I found it. take off gas cap, check fuel line and petcock for dirt/filth. I also changed my needle setting to all the way so when you throttle you get more gas. one other item is vacuum line, pinch it and see if it runs better. A rebuild kit for carb is only $26 on ebay.
